Public Awareness Campaign
Maryland developed a public awareness campaign aimed at providing basic information to the public about opioid overdose prevention.
The State will distribute posters, pamphlets, and emergency cards to each local health department for distribution throughout their jurisdiction. In addition, campaign materials will be shared with first responders, local jails, detention centers, hospital emergency rooms, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. for broad dissemination throughout Maryland.
